⚾️ March 23 was a beautiful day in Amory. The Panthers baseball team improved its record to 15-1, proving doubters wrong But March 24 changed everything. A rare EF3 tornado destroyed Amory's fields. But it didn't destroy their spirit or their season: Part 1 Extended story soon
After the tornado hit in March, @AmoryBaseball told me it was only going to add more motivation to bring home another state championship trophy. Yesterday, they did just that. Here’s a look back at what the Panthers went through this season:
The Amory Panthers didn't know last Thursday's win was the last time they'd play at their stadium this season. Friday's EF-3 tornado turned @AmoryBaseball's world upside down. Now, they're trying to pick up the pieces midseason:

Day one was an absolute success, that’s not debris you see on our field. That is sand filled in the holes the storm left behind for us. Just like the storm left us holes in our lives, we will fill them in and rebuild. Thank you to EVERY single person involved
