Nice piece, I especially like the funding discussion. It’s precisely correct. Few Hoosiers really know how heavily education budgets have been cut. The reason is simple—they’ve been misled by so many elected leaders.

Page 23 in the @CI_Carmel contains a great letter to the editor about Democratic candidate @jeremyeltz and why a Republican is voting for him to be the next city councilor for the South East district! The political winds change quickly 👍🏻

Having a stressful week? On the bright side, you didn't get called out by @johngreen, then respond by broadcasting your cowardice and incompetence to the world. (Unless you're one of four @HamiltonEastPL board members. In which case, you totally deserve the week you're having.)

My reply to the board members of @FishersIN and @NoblesvilleIN seeking to remove my books (and over a hundred others) from the young adult literature shelves in their libraries. Heartbreaking for this to happen in Central Indiana, where I live and strive to support.

We are proud to announce that #UIndy now accepts the Indiana College Core, making us the first private university to do so. This will help our #UIndyBound students transfer from other institutions and apply credits from early college programs more easily.

Yesterday we announced the official launch of My College Core, a planning tool for the Indiana College Core. Students will now be able to access tools to build plans and track their progress toward completing the Indiana College Core Certificate.

At the core of a student’s education, foundational literacy and STEM skills make all other learning possible. That’s why the work of the Indiana Literacy Cadre and Indiana STEM Cadre, supported by @EducateIN and @CELLuindy, is so necessary.
