Please take 2 mins to show your support for the new shared pedestrian and cycle way in Glouthaune. Let's show @Corkcoco that people support active travel and amenity schemes like this. change.org/p/save-glounth…

I’d normally keep this location disclosed but I guess it doesn’t matter anymore: I’d always find lizards in this very spot. Videos of lizards here in thread. Fire station is 100m away. I can’t just blame the Fire Brigade because there’s plenty of apathy in the community as well.

Great news as funding of almost €3.5 million is awarded to complete the Tralee - Fenit Greenway! Combined with €4.5 million for the extension of the Great Southern Greenway from Listowel to Tralee will make a continuous cycle/walking route between Fenit and Limerick a reality.

Ministers Ryan & Naughton have confirmed €63.5m for Greenways in 2021 This is the highest single year amount ever allocated to these type of cycleways Details of the allocations are available at 📍bit.ly/36lxVv4

This photo shows where the Fenit & Limerick railways diverge. Despite being in public ownership and having full planning permission the section of line on the left is about to be conceded to a private individual, breaking the route. You have until Friday to make a submission.

The pedestrianisation of the Marina in Blackrock has been a resounding success in its trial period. Show your support to keep the Marina car-free and restore it to what it was designed for: A permanent amenity for the people of Cork. chng.it/GJsXtJkk

It's been around a few times but worth reiterating: if you have a few euro that you'd normally spend on nice things buy a voucher for a local restaurant you want to go to to celebrate the end of quarantine. The injection of cash, however small, can only help #supportlocal

Not far from here, nurses & doctors are working to prepare for the impact of a global pandemic. Everyone is working 24/7. This is an insult to their efforts. There is very clear public health advice. Follow it. All options will be kept under constant review #CoronaVirusUpdates

Just sent to me from Temple bar. Glad we are taking this serious. #COVIDー19 #CloseThePubs
