Maj Ajay Jasrotia, SM (13 JAK RIF). An extremely fit Ghatak Platoon commander who did many a successful operation in the Kashmir valley from 1997-'99. Was killed in action on this day, 25 years ago, during OP VIJAY, while saving his comrades who were under enemy artillery fire.
