Exciting to be part of #ICPP2023 in Lyon! I will be participating in tomorrow's roundtable discussion exploring indigenous rights and participation in plant pathology – mostly talking about what we can do to avoid helicopter research.
The fact that so many Indigenous peoples are missing in Maui & the government aid wasn’t fast enough to save lives just shows why Indigenous peoples are tired of sitting in DEI trainings, being asked how to improve work environments, etc.
