It does seem like the world at large will do anything to avoid cutting emissions and planting trees.
🕶 One technology is "stratospheric aerosol injection" - or SAI. 🧴 It involves spraying chemicals into the atmosphere to reflect away some of the sun's warmth, like how volcanic eruptions darken the sky. 🛩 Special planes would deploy it, costing a few billion dollars a year.
This feels like a precursor to actual climate violence. Mind you, it's also starting to look like violence will be the only way to get anything done, considering the level of denial out there. theguardian.com/environment/20…
