“Oh — Come on. You’re not gonna cry, are you?” Harlow chuckled softly, moving to sit on the truck beside Andy. Giving him a playful nudge. “You like taking photos. Ever considered a photography course?”
Harlow was a lot less sweaty and fresh now that he’d had a quick locker room shower and changed clothes, making his way over to the truck where Andy was. “Hey you,” it had been a while since Harlow last saw Andy smiling like that.
“Okay, okay. I’ve gotta go get changed but I’ll meet you out at my truck?” Pressing a kiss to Andy’s forehead, he could hear their team calling his name but they could afford to wait for a moment.
Oh— Oh. . . That did make him feel slightly more relaxed he supposed. At least it was only going to be one beer, and it would be in the house. “Okay, okay. But only one.”
Harlow still wasn’t sure. Of course as always there was going to be a celebration party thrown but Harlow hadn’t planned on going. He just didn’t like the thought of Andy being back at that kind of scene. . . But he couldn’t stop him if he wanted to. “I— I guess so.”
“Booze? Andy I —.” He didn’t want to seem boring or overbearing or anything like that. . . Harlow just worried about the other a whole lot, and he didn’t know if alcohol was a good choice considering Andy’s addiction problem. . . “Is that a good idea?”
Oh —. That was so sweet... he knew that his mom was definitely going to like that a lot. “Thank you. She’ll love it.”
He’s so precious, isn’t he? And seems to be doing much better lately—! “Thank you. I’m glad that you came, Andy.” Honestly he was, giving him a little squeeze.
Honestly it was really nice to see Andy at the game to support him. His mom was never able to come because she was always at work. They won, of course. And he headed to the bleachers to see Andy. “Hello,”
It’s a very cute cat. He spent a couple of minutes just petting and talking to it. “Uh— he would usually come downstairs almost instantly.”
“Okay—.” Oblivious to being checked out, stepping into the house. Being greeted by Harlow Jr first and foremost.
Sighs. That’s — ugh. “No, of course not. . .” Harlow mumbled, heading up to the front door to open it.
“And you know I can’t ask that of you, Nate.” He said softly, slipping out of the car after Nate. Honestly no idea what to expect Andy to be like today. He’d still been sleeping when Harlow left for school.
“My mom can barely afford the doctor we have now— and what difference would it make?” The diagnosis was final, as far as he knew.
