Trump's win shows us who we really are: This article by professor Aaron W. Hughey is one of the most powerful and accurate post-election indictments of America you'll ever read. 😳👇

Mythmaking is important after elections so we need to call it out Trump had Sinclair, Peter Thiel, Fox News, Newsmax, Uncommitted movement, The Intercept, Daily Wire and third party candidates CNN wouldn’t even factcheck Trump during a debate This is some serious revisionism

Kamala had CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, and NYT. Trump had @X, @joeroganhq, some cat memes and a squirrel. Trump won. America found a new way to get information, and the democrats completely missed the boat. Time to catch up.

haley in a good position to recognize this for what it is

Let’s be clear, Joe and Mika didn’t suddenly see the light, they saw their ratings. They realized they needed Trump for their survival.

’Identity Politics’ Isn’t Why Harris Lost - by Jim Swift “This election was about identity after all—an American identity which has become more tolerant of authoritarianism and less committed to democracy over the past decade.”

Oh please. Dukakis lost 40 states, lost 426 electoral votes, and lost the national popular vote by eight points. If you’re going to draw historical parallels, at least learn some history rather than talking out your ass.

Kamala Harris had an electoral performance reminiscent of Dukakis in 1988. She underperformed swing-state Democrats (if she didn't, she would have won). Democrats need to consider out-of-the-box publicity strategies. crowdsondemand.com

But none of them have anything to do with Project 2025 🫣

Trump nominates Brendan Carr, author of the FCC Chapter in Project 2025, to be the Chairman of the FCC.

Some Americans will inevitably repeat this Kremlin talking point while ignoring that the day before Russia unleashed one of the biggest missile strikes on Ukraine since the Russian invasion.

BREAKING: The Kremlin has accused the outgoing Biden administration of adding fuel to the fire and seeking to escalate the conflict in Ukraine. Sky's @IvorBennett reports from Moscow. Latest: trib.al/Hu1Mfu5 📺 Sky 501, Virgin 602, Freeview 233 and YouTube

Let this be a lesson for Democrats: media outlets won’t hold Trump accountable. The incentive structures prioritize access over accountability. It’s exactly this type of normalization that makes some voters skeptical our democracy is at risk.

Joe and Mika went to Mar a Lago to talk with Trump over the weekend. First face-to-face meeting in seven years. "We didn't see eye-to-eye on a lot of issues and we told him so," @JoeNBC says. "What we did agree on – was to restart communications," @morningmika says.

Kamala Harris message to everyone out there that was cheering her on this election ❤️

The Democrats’ most loyal voters, as ever, were Black voters and Jewish voters both of whom are under no illusions about the GOP and both of whom know the historic threat of racism and fascism. Other minority communities would do well to learn from them.

Everyone who endorses the false claim that the US economy of 2024 is an inflation-wracked hellscape of misery for working people ... is doing advance comms work for the Trump administration when in 90 days time they start taking credit for the best economy since the 1960s.

Had anyone’s theory of politics been more thoroughly discredited by the Biden Administration’s failure than Bernie Sanders? Biden spent four years implementing Bernie’s labor, employment, and general economic policy. Voters hated it, including the working class and union members.

It should come as no great surprise that a Democratic Party which has abandoned working class people would find that the working class has abandoned them. While the Democratic leadership defends the status quo, the American people are angry and want change. And they’re right.

This, from David Frum—I know, I know, but we’re not playing teams here—is astute about the way Trumpist fascism will be felt by many not under any direct assault.

The American people have spoken. Congratulations to President Trump on a strong win. Now, it’s time for the American people to come together, pray for our country, and start the process of a peaceful transition. That begins with Kamala Harris conceding. You can’t just talk…

Because for millions of Americans - who live their lives passively through screens and entertainment - it was just the final episode of a TV show and it didn't really affect their lives. And the next show that followed it was boring.

March 2021.

If Dems and other officials do not hold the perperators of past admin crimes accountable *and* tackle the structural issues that made the US vulnerable to mafia state rule, all the Biden admin will be is a brief interlude between aspiring autocracy and entrenched autocracy.
