Today we remember the end of the First World War - and we let the experiences of those who lived through it speak for themselves. Collections of wartime art can be found on the second and third floors of the library.
On this day 35 years ago sections of the Berlin Wall were breached, beginning the fall of the wall. A piece of the Berlin wall is in the Taylor Institutions special collections. It was donated by a former graduate student along with some books.
📚Library Tips📚 Our staff are busy reclassifying the Classics Lending Library into Library of Congress call numbers. This means there are two places to search for a book. The old call numbers are left, the new ones (with green tape) are right as you enter the ground floor.

On this day in Egyptology History... Howard Carter first uncovered the steps leading down to Tutankhamun's tomb on 4th November 1922! The tomb itself would not be excavated until February 1923. For more resources on Tutankhamun, head up to the first floor of the library!
