No, not Ukraine. Jenin, Palestine. No condemnation, no front-page news. Israel killed 10 Palestinians, half of them teenagers. Hundreds wounded and thousands had to flee their homes. Israel even bulldozed water and electricity pipes. What kind of depraved behavior is this?
Palestinians are on their own. They have no army, navy, air force. No help from P.A. or Western nations. From Arab League they get only empty words. And many who want to support Palestinians are afraid of being labeled "anti-Semitic" by the Israel Lobby. Well, I'm not afraid.
I made this toon in solidarity with Palestinian activist Khader Adnan who in 2012 went on a hunger strike in protest against his illegal detention by #Israel. Arrested again in 2023, Mr.Adnan passed away today after a long hunger strike. His struggle remembered in a wall in #Gaza
Arrested ten times. Never charged. Never put on trial. Now Khader Adnan has died in Israeli detention protesting his treatment and after prolonged medical neglect. Enough of this brutal and inhumane colonial occupation. There has to be accountability!
