Watching @UnitedTribes_BB's Alannah Hurley celebrate this historic action on the White House lawn is truly remarkable. Thank you so much for your tireless leadership and for inspiring all of us to do everything we can to protect Bristol Bay! #BristolBayForever

Alannah is a Bristol Bay native and the Executive Director of the United Tribes of Bristol Bay. Yesterday, Alannah introduced President Biden as he celebrated the Administration’s recent action to protect the headwaters of Alaska’s Bristol Bay.

We were honored to be at this event yesterday with leaders from across Bristol Bay, Alaska and the country. Thank you @POTUS for listening to Tribes and Alaskans and STOPPING Pebble Mine!

We banned mine waste disposal in Alaska's Bristol Bay watershed – protecting fisheries Native People have relied on for millennia. Because of it, and tireless advocates, this priceless resource will be protected for future generations. It's impossible to put a price on that.

Thank you Marian Call, creator of Mountainside Open Mic for including @sunny_porch_ak in your lineup of featured musicians! . We are looking forward to playing on March 29th. instagram.com/p/CpQ9MvpPr1J/…
