For a fast view on the valuation of a stock, I like to use @stonkmetal version of owner earnings: FCF (+Growth Capex-SBC+|-change in working capital) / EV * 100 That combined with future FCF growth and the likelihood of that growth to actually happen is a great starting point.
PS: I basically skip everything under 7% owner earnings. Calculation of growth capex as well as future growth are of course the moving parts in here but as it’s basically just a starting point, it doesn’t have to be perfect.

Stock picking is about discipline, patience, self-awareness and self-confidence. The first two are knowing what you are looking for and only acting on the great opportunities. The second two are believing in yourself and knowing another run is just around the corner.

In case you don’t know what this very experienced guy is talking about: we are nearing 2021 bubble levels at some “growth“ stocks. I think it’s highly likely that this time it will end with a longer period of underperforming „growth“ equities. Timing of course hard.
The craziest thing is that we *just* did this. It usually takes like a decade in between.

You know I don`t like paying taxes so I continue to buy well managed European companies. Added to $EVS.BR at roughly 8,5x ev/fcf, no debt, growing % of recurring revs, dyodd (maybe start with @memyselfandi006 writeup in his link in bio, it just got cheaper since as it`s European)
