Good article on Casper, broadly applicable to consumer. DTC is just a channel, and arguably one with inferior economics. Casper now has stores and sells wholesale. DTC is (was?) a way to efficiently launch and scale. But hasn’t proven standalone viable. wsj.com/articles/caspe…
