People with chronic illnesses will have stomach cramps, headaches, joint pain, muscle pain, fatigue, nausea, dizziness and more every single day... and still act completely normal in public. Remember you never know the pain someone may be in just by looking.

I must say I agree with you, Steve Gerber was my hero in terms of writing comics. If it were up to me I'd leave Howard alone and just re-read his issues and be satisfied at that. To qualify my statement - IF Marvel doesn't leave him alone, you'd be the one I'd trust with him.
From what I've noticed there's a pretty large misconception that artists are rolling in cash when they are charging more than minimum wage for their commissions. We are paying self employment taxes PLUS income tax in the US, which means about 30% of income goes to taxes alone.
