Hey @1025TheBone #bonefam. Drinkin with Ed Weigle @3bridgesbrewing

on.soundcloud.com/JnK48 Some fun stuff with Ian Punnett and Chicago radio legend, Fred Winston.

It’s been 10 years since we lost Johnny Cash. He and June were delightful people.

To give a size differential: Ash and Colleen’s sunglasses. And yes, he’s commandeered my recliner.

Zack brought home this tiny kitten yesterday. Colleen and I heartily objected (for a fraction of a second). Our little boy, Ash, makes cat #5.

Many thanks to my great friend, Cigar Dave (Dave Zeplowitz) for the wonderful tribute on his podcast to my mother, who passed away on August 7th. Huge Victory For Cigar Industry, Bernie Sanders’ Shady Deal cigardave.com/huge-victory-f…

Heaven gained an angel this early morning. My mother, Norma Jean Weigle, decided 88 years was sufficient. The nurse said she told her “I feel better,” then faded away. How can that not be more beautiful? We’ll have a memorial—and I’ll keep you all posted.

Was honored to contribute to a nice article about Pittsburgh radio’s WAMO and my mentor, rock and roll pioneer, Porky Chedwick. Thanks, Joe Pinchot! pittsburghmagazine.com/wamo-celebrate…

I never met him but had the great honor of creating and voicing the radio and TV audio, promoting Tony Bennett’s “Uplugged” concert tour in the mid-‘90s— the catalyst which allowed a new generation to discover him. Sadly, I think he was the last icon of his era of song stylists.

Had the pleasure yesterday morning of joining my fellow broadcaster, John Leslie, for his podcast, “Talking About Radio with John Leslie.” His archives feature some fascinating guests and big names of our industry…yet he decided to have me on. buzzsprout.com/2152974/132179…

If you have any followers in ANY of your socials, would you be willing to notify people about "Vaudeville for the Frightened." It's doing very well on the drama and fiction hit lists but I would love to be Top Ten! iheart.com/podcast/1119-v…

It was this day in 1997 we lost actor/WW2 hero, Jimmy Stewart. He was loved the world over, but I had a special connection: He was responsible for my getting hired at my first radio job. He and his wife Gloria were the greatest.

This is a fascinating crystal, which formed nearly 15 million years ago, when an asteroid collided with Earth in modern day Germany and formed this rare type of glass. It’s mined only in the Czech Republic (this came from Inner Vision Crystals, who have a stellar rep).

TWO friends on Coast to Coast AM Saturday night/Sunday morning. Connie Willis hosts, Scott Innes—the voice of Scooby Doo, guests. Listen on iHeartRadio App, KFI Los Angeles or 970 WFLA Tampa; Pacific, 10P-2A; eastern, 1-5AM. Become Coast to Coast Insider to listen anytime.

Tonight and tomorrow at 10PM, catch Porky Chedwick’s 58th Radio Anniversary broadcast from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. It’s sat in my archive since 2006. hofmradio.com/?fbclid=IwAR02…

For my money, this guy is one of the funniest human beings on the planet! I’ll be spending some of that money to see Bert Kreischer’s new movie, “The Machine,” that opens this weekend.

“I’m going to switch my car insurance because the little kid with a mustache and a baby emu is so cute in the TV commercial,” said—nor will say—any bi-pedal being, with an IQ above a head of cabbage, until the end of time. They should just air these spots during “The View.”

Very sad and shocked to hear of the sudden passing of my friend, Lou Rawls, Jr. We’re pictured here with New Zealand rugby legend Geoff Old. Wonderful times. Rest well, buddy.

I am so proud to have been part of this season as network announcer for the Tampa Bay Lightning. Many thanks to Steve Versnick and Vinik Sports Group for bringing me on, as well as my friends at Tampa’s 102.5 The Bone. Let’s grab Stanley’s Cup next year!
