"Because of the rigid systems we have in place, we are not able to adapt fast enough" to land loss, coastal flooding, and hurricanes on the Louisiana coastline, says Chief @devonparfait of the Grand Caillou/Dulac band of Biloxi Chitimacha Choctaw & @EnvDefenseFund at #CHOW2024
Devon Parfait ’22 (@devonparfait) and geology professor Rónadh Cox (@Ronadh_Cox) discuss the impact of land loss on Louisiana's Grand Caillou/Dulac Band of Biloxi Chitimacha Choctaw Tribe in this @AGU_Eos feature. bit.ly/4a8eq9d
