REMINDER: 9/11 was tragic, but let’s not forget how we treated each other on 9/12. We as Americans stepped in and loved one another despite race, beliefs, gender and religion. We need to live 9/12 like we did in 2001 by loving your neighbor even if they don’t look like you.
The Bible isn’t based on how you feel, it’s based on what God says.
The Church is NOT a hospital. The Church is NOT a place for sick people to be fixed. We cannot fix or save anyone. That’s Jesus’s job. The Church is a body that functions to point back to the ONLY One who makes broken people whole. Jesus is The Great Physician, not The Church.
a nonbeliever recently said to me “u use God as a crutch, i wonder if u can stand on ur own?” the truth is, i can’t. & i have no shame admitting i NEED my Savior. every moment of every day, i need Him. i tried doing life w/out Him & failed miserably.
Ladies: If he can't lead you in prayer, it'll be really difficult to lead you in life.
Get this, you’re safer with God in the middle of chaos than you are anywhere else without Him
why aren’t you praising his name? because of judgements people? because of fear? there’s nothing i’m more scared of than letting my Father down.
