Do you skin-pick or hair-pull? I’m investigating attitudes towards the self in #trichotillomania and #dermatillomania. Please take my survey if this applies to you! #BFRB docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAI…

Today I have four stars on my wrist. My head aches. My hyperaware of my lips. It does not get easier by the day. It gets much harder.

For each day I don't pick I've been drawing a star on my wrist. Told a friend about it and he's using the same method to quit smoking.

They can appear even in the eye lashes folicules and have to be pulled out (shouldn't hurt).

Not a human expert but I work and study animals. From what I know you definitely need medical treatment.

Question from a follower I can't answer: anyone here struggle with demodex mites, & if so, can you send some info & solutions for me to RT?

Coconut oil has been wonderful for my legs this year. Shorts might actually happen. Maybe. Big maybe. But still a maybe.

The more people I tell about it. The more come forward with it.

TALK ABOUT IT GUYS. I told my roommate about my dermatillomania recently and today she told me she thinks her brother has it.

I pick at my legs often because the skin isn't as even because I don't tend to use lotion on my legs much.

Plus summer is coming up. Let's try to get my arms and legs to a point where my skin is smoother and moisturized.

I've got too many new lipsticks to try that just don't look good on chapped, uneven, picked-at lips!

do it. It was a little goal here and there that made me more confident and reduced anxiety. So here go. I'm back. (6/6)
