Perhaps my best years are gone. When there was a chance of happiness. But I wouldn’t want them back. Not with the fire in me now.

What a trajectory, from being (part-)involved in Supreme Court cases, to hectoring a museum’s curators to put on an exhibition goodlawproject.org/why-does-the-b…

Hey @GoodLawProject - I’m interested to know whether you “follow all laws”. It would be really helpful to hear your comment on that.

With elections increasingly being fought online, data misuse by political parties damages our democracy. When politicians mess up at the despatch box, they need to fess up. It’s time for Sunak to come to parliament and come clean. goodlaw.social/hmxe

They said satire died when Kissinger was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. If so satire must today be spinning in its grave

Just been watching Good Law Project’s “They’ve got your data, but you’ve got your rights” video. Yay for data protection rights kids! But why, then, does GLP itself claim that I am “opted in” by default to its use of tracking cookies by the evil likes of Google and Meta?

Few things funnier than a pointless silk with a grudge

Unwilling or incapable of addressing the substance of the report, Maugham resorts to his favourite tactic:

“I’m going to use donated money to take advice from leading counsel on something I’ve decided, on no evidence, might happen, based on my irritation that a politician made a decision a few months ago I’m still affronted by”.

I also know many lawyers who say that if a case about one thing was instead a case about another thing the outcome would be different.

“Assisted dying” is a euphemism which puts one person’s role in intentionally ending another’s life in a benign and positive light. It obscures the truth that a law enabling it would profoundly shift the boundary of exculpation for responsibility for the death of another person

A whole new cause of action on its way here folks. What is it? Defaming a foreign athlete by calling them a man? Because that’s the least remote thing I can think of, and it’s so silly it’s homeopathic in terms of any plausible harm

The @GoodLawProject has questions to answer. One assumed, given its founder and its genesis, that it would respect and defend the rule of law. Is that not (or no longer) the case?

Using the law for a better world How it started: working alongside the Miller case that led to the Mail’s notorious “Enemies of the People” front page How it’s going: “we wish the judiciary had been … sensible” “a ****ing high court in charge of deciding our ****ing rights”

I believe @BucksCouncil should also consider whether this person, who is a councillor, has breached 5.1 of the Member Code of Conduct buckinghamshire.moderngov.co.uk/mgConvert2PDF.…

“Political interference in healthcare should be a concern for anyone”. Will you stop doing it now, then?

We’re deeply saddened to share that the High Court has upheld the government’s ban on puberty blockers. We won’t stop fighting for the rights and dignity of young trans people, and we’re consulting on next steps.

“Champagne for my real friends, real pain for my sham friends” This mantrum is really quite something. All that’s missing is a mass flicking of V-signs, huge raspberries, as he stomps up a rock in a tizz. Maybe India will join & they can slide into each other’s rucksacks..?

This independent review is damning of the grossly irresponsible claims made by Jolyon Maugham & his @GoodLawProject, which they used to misleadingly crowdfund over £60K for a misrepresented legal challenge. Maugham should now apologise & withdraw. Don't you agree, @StewartWood?

The disturbing, unverified claims of a rise in young people’s suicides, published by the GLP in support of its crowdfunding solicitation for this case, have now been subjected to official scrutiny and found wanting, and social media discussion criticised gov.uk/government/pub…
