The CFB has no comment on this. I will say there is no provision or rule that would allow for this to happen within CFB. And there's court precedent saying you cannot issue more public funds because of IE spending. Remember it's not actually Cuomo's campaign spending the money.
At the @NYCCFB this morning, @ZohranKMamdani is asking the board to increase the spending cap - since @FixTheCityNYC, a pro Cuomo super PAC, is spending millions. In short, the CFB will likely not do that. Fix the City spending is completely legal under Citizens United
Weird misinfo in @NYCMayor’s release on extreme heat and other weather issues. The hurricane season in NYC is most active starting in August but it began June 1 for the Atlantic Ocean. We have historically seen remnants of storms in June and July that dump lots of rain
