Corvilla would like to say "THANK YOU" to all of our Direct Support Professionals for all that you do! Our appreciation goes beyond this week because we understand that your work is essential every day, week, month and year! #DSPWeek2020

A Direct Support Professionals primary role is to support people on a day to day basis with routine personal needs, social support, and physical assistance aka a HARD WORKER! And it doesn't stop there... long hours, documentation, and it may require lots of coffee. #DSPWeek2020

Mark Twain said,”Kindness is the language that the deaf can hear and the blind can see." There is power in kindness having the ability to see the person and not the disability. DSPs understand that power. #DSPWeek2020

DSPs advocate for personal choice, work, individual rights, natural supports like family, friends, and co-workers within an individuals environment. DSPs value community connections, dignity, and respect for the people they advocate for on a daily. #DSPWeek2020
