I would 1000% watch this!

Queer Eye, but it’s just five librarians telling you what books to read in order to better yourself.

This is my mum (standing) & a few of her friends having a wee prosecco... with breakfast! All bets are off for octogenarians (actually the lady in red, bottom right, is 102!) who can do whatever the hell they like. Even start drinking at 10am. Can't wait to be an old lady.

Write novels. Smoke joints in the bath. Invest in a collection of fine silk kimonos.

Women get mostly infertile at 40, but live to be 80. Without a family, what are you going to do with those 40 long long years?

Angelica Schuyler. She was already sliding into all the Founding Fathers’ DMs tbh

[at a gender reveal party] me: if blue confetti comes out of the pipe it’s a boy, and if pink confetti comes out it’s a girl guests: three, two, one...! [I press the button. Water shoots out of the pipe. The room floods] me: that’s right bitches, gender is fluid

Between this and a conversation with a colleague, I've been thinking about how I can better support other women at work, especially women of colour. Any suggestions/links?

If men who overlook women are sexist, what are white women who overlook women of colour?

In a culture that assigns value to people based on their productivity, it is a radical act to choose to rest. Your value is not in what you do or make. Shabbat Shalom, y’all. ❤️

To the people still donating to #RideForMurderedWomen ..thank you. Each time I see it I think of the look on a woman’s face being helped ..when she knows she’s free of the man who might kill her .and she knows someone believes her. You’re doing that. Directly. Thank you. 💜💚💚💜

I have been saying for years that someone should write a biography for kids about Claudia Jones.

When I mentioned Claudia Jones on @GMB the other day everyone looked puzzled. Definitely someone Britain should be proud of. To save @piersmorgan and anyone else who's interested a Google search here's a piece I wrote about her last Black History Month newstatesman.com/politics/uk/20…
