A common dig at Trauma-informed is that we are asking teachers to be counselors or therapists, and no one is saying that. Nor should they! We need teachers to know about brain development, sensory sensitivities, and common triggers so they can create safe learning spaces.

Being trauma-informed isn't a program or initiative. It is a journey. It means learning about the brain and nervous system, the impacts of trauma on development, and understanding how the brain deals with stress. Then, using that info, we create better environments for humans!

If you enjoy propaganda, you'll LOVE this from the UK government😂 They've realised TOO MANY people have died in the last few years, SO they have come up with a NEW method to calculate excess deaths, so there are NO MORE excess deaths! That's SMART👀
