Apropos of nothing: what astonishing event did you only recently discover? Me: Mount Erebus disaster of 1979 (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Ere…). Never heard of it until a few months ago. There's even footage of passengers aboard that plane, drinking champagne minutes before the crash.

Seems to have happened immediately! The @insidethegames daily email overnight changed to just a few puff pieces. I can only see reposted press releases posted since 1 Nov. What a shame!
Let's hope that @insidethegames doesn't go the route of @aroundtherings which has become almost unreadable since Ed and Sheila Hula sold it.
Sorry @SW_Help but this was utter nonsense! 6.05pm Waterloo was chaos, trains leaving sporadically and (to passengers) randomly, plus it was so overcrowded there was only one entrance open and the tube was non-stopping.
