The IRS just said it wants $20B more money. Do you think it’s budget should be:
Thanks for the daily laughs you sweet bastard
I made a breakfast sandwich this morning, took an English muffin, dipped it French toast batter, cooked it on the griddle, then put butter & syrup on it. Then, I added a sausage patty, a slice of cheese, and an egg. Delicious!
On this date in 1980, Steve Stone #stevestone won his 14th straight decision, beating Milwaukee 4-1.
This may be the best cut of meat I've ever cooked. Definitely in the top 3. It was outstanding. A pork steak, marinated for 8 hours in a fajita mix, then cooked in the air fryer for 12 min. on each side @ 400°. Served with seasoned potatoes.
I'm not gonna lie, I'd like to get me a dollar's worth of the lemon lime and ginger ale....and probably root beer and grape as well. youtu.be/F-5_UNnSQhE
Has anyone else tried Starry, the new lemon-lime pop from Pepsi? It was on sale, so I bought some. IMHO, it tastes weak, not as flavorful as 7-Up or Shasta. I had to check the label to make sure it wasn't diet or seltzer water.
With 12-packs of cans of pop now around $8, yeah, I'll buy 6-packs of half liter bottles for $3 instead.
Instant coffee by itself: Eh, not as good as brewed. Two spoonfuls if instant coffee in a cup of cocoa: An outstanding, chocolaty pick-me-up!
So, I'm watching music videos on YouTube the other day and I catch the Journey video for "Feeling That Way" from 1978. Is it me, or is Steve Perry wearing Bob Keeshan's sport coat from "Captain Kangaroo"?
Having no milk, eggs, or bread really limits your options for breakfast. Off to the store after work.
It would be wonderful if all the candy companies would get together and agree to a standard on the size of movie theater candy boxes. Yeah, I'm coming at this from a gift wrapping point of view.
My kitchen isn't set up to have a fridge with an ice maker, but I have 4 ice cube trays and have never run out of ice. I also saved hundreds of dollars when I had to replace my fridge because I didn't need one with an ice maker.
A super simple chicken recipe: Sprinkle with salt & pepper, cook for 21 minutes @ 400° in the air fryer, turning over halfway through. Delicious!
While I had my early afternoon coffee and cookies, I also had some bacon. Hey, they were the last 2 slices. Not sorry!
Now, I'm not saying this is the Holy Trinity of cold, refreshing beverages, but I think they're right up there, IMHO.
I made a chicken dinner yesterday in the Crock-Pot. Red potatoes, peeled, cut in half, with a cup of bullion and some seasoning, then put the chicken, rolled in seasoned flour, on top of the potatoes. 8 hours on low & voila! Tasty chicken dinner!
While noticing the NFL scores on the bottom of the TV screen during games on Sunday, whenever they showed a team with 5 wins, I caught myself thinking "One more win and they're bowl eligible" for a second or two.
That last cup of coffee was so good, I may have to ask myself for a second cup.
I like to cook, especially since I got an air fryer a couple of months back. These are some drumsticks I marinated in a fajita mix all day, then cooked for 25 minutes at 400°. They turned out very well.
