I know we are all sick of hearing about COVID and more sick of having to worry about COVID. It looks like we will be doing annual COVID boosters just like influenza. Compared to what we've had to do these last few years, this is no big deal. Get boosted! (And get your flu shot)

Haven't done one of these in a while. Almost a four-fold increase of COVID-19 in wastewater samples between Oct. 10 and 13 for the North end and ~ 50% for the South end. 🦃🦃🦃

Got my copy of @jameystegmaier’s new micro-game Smitten in the mail with a @stonemaiergames order yesterday. Had a chance to give it a try solo — yes, of course there’s Automa Factory solo rules for an 18-card micro-game — and it was a quick, enjoyable puzzle. #boardgames
I’m honestly genuinely surprised by how little effect the bivalent booster had on me. My 2nd dose (Moderna) laid me out for 6 hours the next day. My 3rd dose (Moderna also) definitely had me very fatigued the next day, but not actually sick feeling. The 4th I barely noticed!
Got my bivalent booster today! Was encouraged when the pharmacist said that uptake has been pretty good so far. Here’s to as normal a winter as we can get!

Glad the cat is out of the bag. With 5.8’s release, @CARROT_app has cemented itself as the best weather app on iOS. The new iPad layout is fantastic and really changes the utility of the app. On iPhones, it’s more flexible than ever. I highly recommend it!

I know that it's popular to talk about how macOS and Apple software has gone downhill, and this isn't something major...but still. Not only do I have TM backups across a local and network drive, it’s actively backing up as I opened the mOS PB access installer.

1. Slippery slope argument is weak. We often provide economic concessions or public incentives to support business and development that we believe benefits the public good. 2. Why are corner stores illegal in Winnipeg’s urban neighbourhoods? No zoning variances should be needed.
