Mui Lab's solution is a single piece of wood that almost magically becomes a simple touchscreen where you can accomplish simple internet-of-things tasks. They also make a wood post where you can record your kid's height and recall it later in a similarly luminous fashion.

Grinds my gears that CSS focused developers who are learning or sometimes struggle with JS are made to feel stupid, but when developers struggle with CSS it's because CSS itself is backwards nonsense that should be burnt to the ground.
