Americans who think the global crackdown on free speech can't affect us are badly mistaken. From the EU to Brazil to Australia, governments are seeking to censor the entire Internet. x.com/shellenberger/…

You say you just want a "seat at the table," but you don't. You want the power to censor the entire Internet, not just in Australia. And so as long as you continue with your obnoxious censorship crusade, no nation, certainly not the U.S., will want you anywhere near the table.

The UK appears to respect free speech but it doesn't. A judge has jailed a woman for 9 months for livestreaming allegedly racist comments. Police investigated a writer for a deleted post. And today the police harassed a critic of gender ideology for an alleged "hate crime"

Scott Bessent is eminently more qualified than Howard Lutnick to run the U.S. Treasury. Scott understands markets, economics, people, and geopolitics better than anyone I’ve ever interacted with. Markets have already anticipated a Bessent choice. Lutnick is not Trump’s answer.

It’s incredible to watch the media call RFK Jr. too extreme and dangerous to lead HHS… 1 out of 5 American kids is already obese. It can’t get any worse. Let the man try. Oh, and this is our current HHS leadership:

I am thrilled to announce Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as The United States Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS). For too long, Americans have been crushed by the industrial food complex and drug companies who have engaged in deception, misinformation, and disinformation when it…

God forbid we let RFK Jr. be in charge of HHS, otherwise he might do something crazy like fund experimental gain-of-function research in Chinese laboratories and cause a global pandemic Oh wait

Being reported that the FBI raided Polymarket founders home this morning & seized his phone and electronics. They gave him no reason. Polymarket predicted Trump would win. This looks like political retribution and is actually bone chilling. WTF is this administration doing.

San Francisco aka San Fransicko (hat-tip @shellenberger) needs to be understood as a trailer for what the Democratic Party machine -- aka Democraticy Inc. -- would have done to the entire country: dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1…

Hold on, because this is now about to happen. The bungling ideologues who used to run SF were completely defeated in this last election. The forces of reform have taken the Mayor's office, the Board of Supervisors, and the Board of Education.

One thing people don't realize about San Francisco's problems is that the city would almost instantly become one of the best in America in every category if it were governed as well as even the median city.
