This is why many respectable movie fans now avoid theaters. Instead of spending millions on renovations, hire people to stand at the door and remove anyone using their phone.
I don’t take photos during the movie and neither should anyone else. It’s distracting and disrespectful to others around you. I feel like this is common sense and general decency for the communal moviegoing experience but apparently it needs to be said over and over again.
We need to have a serious conversation about theater etiquette in 2024 and why people feel entitled to ruin the experience for other moviegoers.
