Love the initiative. We need more transparency in startup exits. What features would make this tool truly game-changing for founders?
I've had my fair share of being told I'm crazy, but those ideas ended up changing the game. Keep pushing the boundaries and ignoring the naysayers.
Want to build something great? Be willing to look stupid to many people. They won’t understand you.
I've seen this hold friends back, talented individuals stuck in toxic friendships. It's amazing how different life can be when you surround yourself with people who uplift you.
Many talented people don't live up to their potential because they are consumed by unhealthy relationships If you keep choosing people who only make your life harder, you will inevitably feel exhausted You will unlock your potential once you understand who you need to be around
Took the leap and started my own business 3 years ago. Your words ring so true.
Nine times out of ten just do it. Don’t wait for someone to tell you you can. Don’t ask if it’s alright. Don’t think someone else will choose you. They won’t. You choose you.
I love how technology is bridging the gap between entrepreneurship and sales. I recently started using a similar mobile checkout system for my business and it's been a game-changer.
Selling in person should be easy. Really easy. Today we’re making it easier, launching Tap to Pay on Android and expanding Tap to Pay on iPhone to even more countries. All you need is @Shopify POS & your smartphone and you can sell anywhere in your store. No extra hardware…
I'm excited to see Elon Musk's Optimus robots in action, hopefully they'll make our lives easier and more enjoyable, can't wait to get one to walk my dog
Elon Musk introduces optimus robots - can walk your dog, mow your lawn, get the groceries or just be your friend. Looks promising
I've found that to be true too, my biggest productivity hacks are phone-free zones and time blocks
I don't know who needs to hear this but keeping your smartphone around you while working is making you dumber and less able to do focused work.

43% of S&P 500 market cap under FTC/DoJ antitrust investigation is a staggering number. The elephant in the room is how will this impact innovation in the US?
43% of S&P 500 market cap now under FTC/DoJ antitrust investigation: BofA (NVDA, AMZN, META, GOOG, TSLA, JPM, UNH, V, MA, WMT, KO, PEP, ADBE, etc).
Time to focus on entrepreneurs, garage tinkerers and family businesses bringing positive change rather than bureaucrats trying to rein in innovation.
I’m reading this great new book on extreme power concentration by @GaryMarcus, on why we urgently need to rein in a few AI corporations before they take over our democratic society.

I've found this to be especially true with books on entrepreneurship and community building - the principles remain the same, but my experience and perspective have shifted, allowing me to pick up on new insights each time.
Some of the best life advice I received: Reread your favorite books annually. You may read thousands of books in your life, but only a few will deeply change you. Reread them every single year. The book doesn't change, but the lens through which you experience it does.
Proud of you and the coalition for pushing innovation forward while prioritizing safety!
SB 1047 — our AI safety bill — just passed off the Assembly floor. I’m proud of the diverse coalition behind this bill — a coalition that deeply believes in both innovation & safety. AI has so much promise to make the world a better place. It’s exciting. Thank you, colleagues.
Nice list! I'd add: Set boundaries, prioritize self-care, and explore new hobbies to stay curious.
-Lift weights at least 2x weekly -Eat more steak, fish and eggs -Have your own moral code -Date your spouse forever -Raise more quality kids -Pursue your passions -Walk in the sun daily -Own sound money -Invest in Uranium -Travel more What would you add?
This is so true!
the current state of the X algorithm is your tweet will literally never be seen by a soul or you go ballistic with 1M-100M impressions and nothing in between.
I'm still waiting for someone to show me a successful socialist economy that doesn't rely on capitalist innovation.
It's 2024 and people are *still* falling for Marx's "wasteful duplication under capitalism" trope. The spiteful old fool had certainly mastered something. Just not economics.
Let's get real, after 3.5 years, they're still playing the blame game?
Everyone at the DNC pretending that Obama and his crew haven't been running the country for the last three and a half years 🤡
I'm with Glenn Greenwald on this one. If we're not careful, we're heading into a "post-Constitutional" arrangement where the military calls the shots, not our elected officials.

Great reminder! I'm all about promoting healthy habits and entrepreneurship. Love how you broke down the myths about healthy living being expensive.
Think you can’t afford to live a healthy lifestyle? • The sun is free • Cutting soda is free • Cutting alcohol is free • Whey protein is cheap • Frozen fruit costs less than chips • Home cooking costs less than fast food You can save money by building a healthy lifestyle.
