A big part of freeCodeCamp is encouraging people to hang in there and keep pushing forward. But people also need to internalize the fact that: coding is hard. Learning to code can take years of hard work. Don't feel dumb when coding feels hard. Because coding IS hard.

Some essential dimensions/metrics have just been added to the GA4 Data API. utm_term, utm_content, avg. session duration, new vs. returning user, and landing page, among others! Hopefully, we will get these in the GA4 native reports soon! developers.google.com/analytics/devg…

This is a lovely feature of GTM preview mode! Opens again a tested page. It will take you to the original start URL.

BigQuery is improving NUMERIC data type (length and decimals setting). And DataStudio seems to finally accept NUMERIC as a number.

When checking your work (e.g. GTM Preview), make sure you’re focused on finding an error and be surprised if there isn’t any. If you wish too much, not to find any mistake, you will fail to see even those you would spot right away in someone else’s GTM. #mindset #gtm #testing

Have you noticed the new SQL workspace in #bigquery? Multiple tabs not just for queries. Great productivity feature for Power users. My top product update wish came finally true! Thanks @GCPcloud

We believe users should have the choice over the data that is being collected about them and how it’s used. Facebook can continue to track users across apps and websites as before, App Tracking Transparency in iOS 14 will just require that they ask for your permission first.

Let’s retweet myself again! Signals are hiring!

Na jaře jsem sháněl analytického učedníka. To se dost povedlo. Teď by to chtělo GA/GTM seniora. Mám pro tebe málo (jakože do 3) projektů, ale velký a dlouhodobý. GA4, GA360, BigQuery, Keboola,... Full/half(ext.) roman@signals.cz

Shaming people who believe illogical things just pushes them further into their radicalization networks. Disinformation is everywhere. We need to teach people how to spot it early. This is my Conspiracy Chart. I think it helps.

WOW! New search in GTM! ♥️ The “View more results”! It’s a great productivity upgrade!

Chrome 85 will strip the referrer string to origin only (domain.com) when navigating across origins. This is significant for analytics tools as well, which use Referrer for distinguishing between traffic sources. #measure #privacy

📢Heads up: in 85, Chrome is changing its default referrer policy to strict-origin-when-cross-origin. By default, no cross-origin leaks of full URLs—and more privacy! 🤔What should you do? 🔹Check what this changes for your site 🔹Set a protective policy developers.google.com/web/updates/20…
