Receiving (rather than sending) MIDI on the forthcoming RP2040-powered Tiny2040 from @pimoroni MIDI notes over USB make the LED light red, but you could hook up a whole chain of NeoPixels and have them blink in time to your music, or have solenoids hit a real drum, you name it!
