Current NBA is unwatchable. Unless you’re an absolute diehard.
Fewer people are watching the NBA Finals through five games than have watched since before Bird and Magic entered the league. The league’s finals ratings — other than Covid year when they played in fall and competed with the NFL — have never been lower in live air history.
Typically, I agree things are trending to the unwatchable side of things. But this has been an excellent finals. Two deep teams (new hero every game) playing mostly inside the 3 point line and not a lot of isolation. 4 Canadians + Siakam playing doesn’t hurt too!
