The prophet Muhammad teaches us never to ask someone to help while you can still be able to do it yourself. This is one of Prophet Muhammad’s most powerful principles. When he still feels capable of doing something by himself, he will never ask for help to others.

The prohibition of monasticism and extremeness: Islam is moderate, it does not support extremism neither does it condone negligence.

Islam teaches tolerance, not hatred. Universal brotherhood, not enmity. Peace and not violence.

The holy Quran expounds the philosophy of prayer and points out how one ought to pray, under what circumstances prayers may be accepted and what kind of prayers may not be accepted and what is the sphere within which prayer operates.

Women in Islam are provided a number of guideline under the holyQuran and the Hadith. In surat Annisa'a which is the fourth chapter of the holy Quran, the title of the surah derives from the numerous references to women throughout the chapter including verses 3-4 and 127-130.

The holy Quran informs man of the reality of another life of a very different nature from the life of the world, of infinite duration. For God, the All-wise is able to do anything He pleases.

There is no Islam without unity, no unity without leadership, and no leadership without obedience.

Prophet Muhammad never agreed to anyone to bow to him. He even forbade his companions to do so. His own companions with such a high love for the prophet, never stood up when they saw Prophet Muhammad because they knew he did not like it.

PAYMENT OF ZAKAT: This is prescribed for those who have and it is compulsory for them to pay out part of their wealth in other to cater for those who are in need and the orphans. There is measure for the amount to be paid as zakat for every wealth that is due for it.

Islam adores the Muslim woman so much that a whole surah in the holy Qur'an was named after them with explicit details of their strength and weaknesses and how they are structured by the Almighty.

Do you know? That Arabic numerals, the numbers the western world use today were developed by the Muslims.

Islam Is The Religion Of Peace. The Word “Islam” Is Derived From The Arabic Word “Salam” Which Connotes “Peace”“Tranquility” Upright” And The Likes. It Is Believed That The Religion Is Know As Religion Of Peace Which In Arabic Means “Deen-L-Salam” It Was Based On Equity And Just”

Prophet Muhammad is always humble and greets anyone that he meets. He still greets to the little ones and lower positions below him. He teaches us that the first person that sees each other should be the first to greet

The first revelation received by the Prophet Mohammad in Hira cave contains the prophecy that through the holy Quran knowledge would be vouchsafed to man to which he had no access before. Consequently, it shows us the errors that crept into previous scriptures.

Do you know? That the longest surah in the holy Qur’an is Suratul Baqarah ( Qur’an chapter 2)with 286 verses and the shortest surah is suratul Kaothar (Qur’an chapter 108) with 3 verses.

Do you know? That Islam teaches balance between fear and hope protecting one from both complacency and despair.

Do you know? That, Muslims do not worship the Kaabah it just serve as focal point for muslims around the world.

Among women many other duties in Islam is to teach her children the etiquettes of eating and drinking, which are taken from the tradition of the prophet Mohammad. She should do so while her children are still young, as soon as they start to help themselves from the table.

For a religion that places much emphasis on the acquisition of knowledge from birth to the point of death, the perception that “Muslims are ignorant and don’t value education” is not only defective but as well misinformed.

Manner in Islam is repentance. A Muslim is expected to repent when we sin against God and changing our ways if we want to escape the punishment of being thrown in hell fire.
