The annual budget of Tsinghua university is $4 billion, while the budgets of 23 IITs, 31 NITs, 20 IIMs, 7 IISERs, and 56 central universities combined amount to just $3.5 billion. We do spend $40 billion on SC/ST welfare schemes though,let's see china compete with that.

IITs r supposed to be most technologically advanced institutes of country , r they doing any research like that
