Maturing is realizing I can't be in love because I trip out when I'm not reassured constantly which leads me to self sabotaging everything
I used to think communication is key, but it turns out reciprocation is. Finding someone who has the same energy for you that you have for them. you ride for them, they ride for you, you nurture them, and they nurture you. You respect them, they respect you, and that's it.
I am a firm believer in not answering the phone if I don’t have the capacity or energy to talk. Idc who it is.

i actually get anxious about asking people for favours. i hate inconveniencing people, even if it’s something i would do for them in a heartbeat. so strange.
there’s nothing worse than still wanting someone despite when their actions show them not wanting you. the fact that you can be so caught up over someone who doesn’t value or respect you is unhealthy for the soul. there’s nothing worse than living for them & not for yourself
Life hit different when you stop trying to prove you didn't say that, you didn't do that, you not like that… you can't fix every lie and every rumor, neither can you defend yourself every time something is said about you. just be great!
I used to think I was introverted because I really liked being alone but it turns out that I just like my peace, and I am very extroverted around people who bring me peace.
Stop letting people consume you. they didn’t call? go to sleep. they didn’t message you? put your phone down and have a better day. they left you on read? delete the conversation. they didn’t make an effort? match their energy. never let your happiness depend on anyone
One thing I’ve realized is that it’s really important to give yourself flowers. Only you and God truly knows what you had to battle in darkness.
Everybody isn't replaceable. Don't let this clout-chasing and emotionally unavailable generation convince you that you should cut everyone off. Learn to communicate and resolve problems or you'll lose valuable people that you'll never find again.
