Had a lot of fun thinking about how we might be able to jointly solve market failures for innovation + redistributive concerns over AI w/ @EmmaJRockall and Emma Casey. Excited to see our work platformed by @UKDayOne, alongside other ideas for transforming innovation policy!

🚀 NEW BRIEFING 🚀 The new 🇬🇧 government will need to capitalise on the AI revolution, but how to pay for it? The solution: AI bonds. Drawing on inspiration from UK war bonds, @Stanford dreamteam @_helena_roy @EmmaJRockall & Emma Casey outline what this could look like.

Railroad network expansion in Germany (1835-1914) increased creation of new ideas and formed specialized knowledge clusters. New ideas were formed by combining ideas coming from cities connected by the railroad. But denser network meant that new ideas diffused less on average.
