It's Dr Abdus Salam's 28th #DeathAnniversary today. Let’s honor the groundbreaking contributions of the first Pakistani & Muslim Nobel laureate in science. His legacy is a testament to excellence, yet his brilliance is overshadowed at home. We must embrace his story with pride.

We have certainly never witnessed anything like this in human history: a whole people methodically destroyed before the eyes of the world, with full knowledge and complete visibility, happening in real time

This is a very hard read. But read it. Read every word and understand the tremendous suffering that Palestinian journalists have endured to keep eyes on Gaza. Wael al-Dahdouh will always be my hero in journalism. theguardian.com/world/2024/oct…

Images of "bestiality, brutality and eternal shame" - indeed. Every day since 390 days, in the most extreme form.

These images are seared into our collective consciousness as a symbol of bestiality, brutality and eternal shame. Hundreds of Palestinian men stripped naked in the middle of rubble in Jabalya. When and how will this end? Where is humanity?

Right now, in the camp where I’m displaced, the children have erupted with joy, cheering and dancing. I was curious to know what they were celebrating, and I heard them shouting, “The crossing is open! The crossing is open!” The Kerem Shalom crossing reopened today, allowing in…

Many of us focus on Palestinian children—and to a lesser extent Palestinian women—but Palestinian men have been dehumanised like no other group in Palestine. They have been killed, detained, tortured, raped, and treated like terrorists. It's beyond horrifying.

Palestinian men and boys deserve everything. They deserve to be humanized. They deserve freedom and liberation. They deserve protection and safety. They deserve to have their stories told and shared. They deserve life and love. We owe them everything.

20,000 missing children in Gaza- some maimed beyond recognition. On top of the 17,000 killed in 12 months. We call it genocide because it is genocide.

Over 20000 children are missing in Gaza. Do you understand what that means??!!

I’m a reporter on the ground in North Gaza, and I’m here to tell you that no aid has entered the besieged area for the past 21 days. The Israeli and American governments are spreading inaccurate information.

Powerful interview, with an uncharacteristically emotional Jeremy Scahill. But how can one not be emotional at this point. Nothing justifies the butchering of children day after day, weeks and months. I am also profoundly disturbed and disgusted by what we have become.

"Yes, we should talk about Yahya Sinwar. But Yahya Sinwar is also in many ways the story of Gaza." Fantastic segment on @AymanMSNBC with @jeremyscahill laying it all out exactly as it should be.

Our colleagues and journalists inside Jabalia Camp are telling us that the airstrikes did not stop. They are saying that the situation is very bad and they are being exterminated.
