Plant Science students tested the pH of several soil samples. They then determined the nutrients available for plants and the effects on plants.
In honor of Constitution Day Sept. 17th fourth graders learned about the constitution and composed their own fourth grade constitution. Students had to provide a signature which they had been learning about in ELA with our cursive writing unit.
Plant Science students played a review game over soils using many Kagan Structures.
Middle School Agriculture students are learning about the terms associated with several species of livestock and specialty animals.
Food Science students have been learning about the six essential nutrients and got to run several tests to determine which nutrients in the provided samples.
Plant Science students learned about the different horizons in a soil profile by creating edible soil cups.
Ag Power & Tech students are making windmills which they will use to convert wind energy into mechanical energy.
Food Science students are comparing difference methods of washing hands, work space and utensils, and determining which method is best.

Monday we kick off FFA Week with flannel, boots and shorts. Remember to bring your $2 for pizza, drink, games and prizes during 5th hour.
Barnwarming Sunday 6-8. Hide and seek plus volleyball. FFA will be grilling hamburgers and hotdogs. Seniors bring chips, juniors buns, sophomores pop and freshmen condiments/desserts. Members can bring a friend.
