The guy I hired to plow our driveway last week dealt exclusively w/ me on the phone. I signed the contract. I sent it back via my email. He just emailed me a bill addressed to my husband. I'm thinking I'll pay it with a check made out to his wife.

Retweet if you want @smithsmm to recreate this gif. 50 retweets (fair is fair) will do it. I will also give Simon a bit of time to prop up (it is a tad more detailed than my hairbrush).

This is full of my own book reviews for children to read and make decisions on what they would like to choose! Can’t wait to have this in the book corner in September. Thanks @_tarasteaching for this amazing idea ✨📚

Out Ofsted report went out to parents today. Really proud of the work of the whole team. It really reflects their commitment to school and their hard work. I was amazed by this though and a bit humbled...

Finally sitting down to read @teacherhead Rosenshine’s Principles In Action nodding my head as I read on. I really like the idea of ‘say it again better.’ I’m guilty of saying ‘that’s a great start can anyone else expand on that’ rather than pushing the child to elaborate.

In recent years, farmers have been forced to hand-pollinate their trees, carrying pots of pollen and paintbrushes with which to individually pollinate every flower, and using their children to climb up to the highest blossoms.

In China people have to pollinate trees because there are so few insects. This is the terrifying sort of content you read about in dystopian books, not in the real world. How we can help: google.co.uk/amp/s/relay.na…

I just finished my book stairs, featuring 14 titles that shaped my childhood and have stuck with me ever since. Seeing them as I climb up to my writing space makes me so happy and inspired. What books shaped YOUR childhood? (Thank you to VIP Decals for the beautiful letters!)
