Tomorrow’s such a magical day. It’s #Vaisakhi, the first day of Chaitra #Navratri, and the first fast of #Ramadan. It’s been an isolating year, so I find it moving that ppl from three of the world’s biggest faiths - Sikhi, Hinduism, and Islam - will spend tomorrow in prayer. ❤️

Same goes for Sikh soldiers. In WW1 Sikhs served in the British Indian army. Sikh units fought at the Battle of Saragarhi in the First World War and during the Second World War in Malaya, Burma and Italy. As well as other battles throughout both wars. You don’t hear about that.
