Nope not at all. We have conformed to not taking risks, not fighting, we are conditioned for the safer route by societal “culture&rules” and by socio-economic factors (including systemic oppression, lack of access to funding, poor credit scores and management, curriculum etc).
You can find elements of corporate takeover in what happened to the Spaza shop industry. It starts off as interest shown…an offer made…partnership formed. You wake up one day and you are outside looking in on what used to be yours.
