The thing I miss most about early series of Bake Off are the little documentaries you'd get in the middle of each episode, where Sue Perkins would fly off to Bulgaria and visit an old sanitorium where nuns riddled with rabies invented a type of bread you've never heard of before
This is a brilliant series, 1st class escapism, excellent cast and engaging story true to the 80s era with fantastic soundtrack. Tennant makes an excellent baddie but Dyer and Parkinson sublime! Bravo and bring on Series 2! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
If you’ve got @DisneyPlus and need a big old bawdy brilliant binge then #Rivals is it. I didn’t think it would be my kind of thing but I’m now a HUGE fan of all involved and comping at the bit (horse ref there, kids 💅🏼) for season two. Come on you lovely fuckers!!!! ♥️📺🐴👠
