(1/3) EXPOSED: Over the weekend, 14 dogs & 5 cats were saved from an undercover facility in Dalian, China–that supplied animals for the meat trade–following a tip & report to law enforcement. HSI's Chinese partner group, Vshine, assisted with the rescue. 🙏

(2/3) The illegal facility was shut down & the owner, who admitted to stealing dogs & selling them to slaughterhouses, is under investigation. The severely emaciated & dehydrated animals, believed to be stolen pets, were handed over to Vshine where they’re receiving vital care.
