Transplants for Children’s logo is now wearing a mask as a reminder - wearing a mask may save the life of a little immunocompromised organ transplant recipient. Please wear a mask, social distance & keep hands clean - little ones are counting on you #donatelife #OrganDonation

As a pediatric transplantation advocate (and heart transplant dad), I can't think of a better person than @ldanzigerisakov to be heading up an organization that is so important to our kids. She has already done so much for us. @ISHLT @transplantfams @CCFHeartKids

As a pediatrician, I can't let this misinformation go unchecked, @henrymcmaster 1. Children under 16 can't receive #covidvacccine 2. Children definitely can spread #COVID19 3. Children can get very ill from COVID19. 4. Masks decrease spread 5. Children should be wearing masks

It is ridiculous for school districts to tell parents whether or not their child should wear a mask in the classroom, that is up to the parent. Every teacher has had the opportunity to get vaccinated and are safe from the virus. It’s time to unmask our children.

DC has vaccinated more non-DC residents than DC residents to date. Only 3.1% of DC residents have been fully vaccinated which makes us last in the nation. I believe in taking care of front line workers who commute in to DC but this ratio seems way off. washingtoncitypaper.com/article/509252…
