Where are the trees? We have A LOT of this landscape and less than 4% native woodland. This landscape should be a rich mosaic of habitats, moor, bog, woodland, montane scrub… We force it to remain in this artificial state. We don’t need to give every inch of our uplands over to…

Ah man. What a beautiful, wonderful story. Sam Whaley-Cohen winning with his last ever race. A dentist who is a high quality amateur jockey and rides Aintree particularly well. That is superb. Fairytales do happen. Very happy for him and connections. 😃 👏

🏇🥇 A fairytale finish to Sam Whaley Cohen's career, as he signs off with victory in the Grand National aboard NOBLE YEATS! 👏 Hats off to our man @MattBrocklebank, who tipped him at 50/1 in his Value Bet column!

The images from liberated towns in #Ukraine are unbelievable, even worse than expected. No question: The West must massively step up its support to Ukraine. If #NeverAgain has any meaning whatsoever, this is it. 🇺🇦

Russians are shooting civilians after tying their hands behind their backs. Dead bodies are all over the Kyiv oblast, on the streets, in cars, in people’s yards. Mass graves are full of unidentified bodies. Many families will never know what happened to their loved ones

My thoughts are with the 1million who’ve fled #Ukraine because they might be killed. The millions who fled #syria and many other millions escaping repression, poverty, war. They all pray they’ll be welcomed in other countries as human beings. That’s all they ask 2/2 #refugees

I got my family out on Friday morning on the Hungarian border near Astei. There was barely anyone there. Was easy to get a slot for biometrics in Budapest too. Perhaps more people should try Hungary?
