harassment toward students Despite multiple complaints,these issues remain unaddressed,eroding student trust in campus leadership. In light of these ongoing failures, PSC calls for the immediate resignation of Lt. Col. Nadeem to restore a safe & peaceful environment at QAU(4/5)

A 22 point declaration was announced late on Sunday night by Manzoor Pashteen after the three-day Pashtun Qaumi Jirga finally concluded. The event, which was held from October 11 to 13, at the Regi Lalma,District Khyber at the intersection between Peshawar and Khyber.(1/6)

Among other demands, the jirga called for: • Withdrawal of security forces as well as “good and bad” Taliban from the region within two months. •Relaxed trade regime with Afghanistan. •Guarantee of the local population’s first rights to the region’s resources. (2/6)

•Uninterrupted supply of cheap electricity. •Steps to establish representative jirgas for the resolution of inter-tribal disputes. •End to extortion. •Resettlement of persons displaced by terrorism and military operations. •End to military interference in politics. (3/6)

•A complete ban on the practice of "Swara". •Formation of a judicial commission to inquire into the killings of political workers in the days leading up to the jirga. (4/6)

PSC had its own camp in the Jirga & held meetings with different students organisations from various universities of Pakistan,discussed the agenda,collected recommendations & forwarded it to the Jirga. PSC stand with these demands which should be addressed on urgent basis.(5/6)
