So excited to have a pair of Black Redstarts in our garden in Cornwall! It’s taken me ages to identify them but finally got a picture! #ornothology @RSPBEngland #birdspotting #twitcher #bird #rspb #rarebird @Surfingsue 🦅 @RSPBbirders

I don’t live in Stroud, but this also applies to my local and your local.

A little pre-Christmas nudge! ‘Please’ I should add. 🙂 It’s a hot chocolate weather this morning. #coffee #takeaway #InStroud

The Natural History GCSE would bring young people closer to nature through hands-on learning, but delays are holding it back. 📚 🌳 The Wildlife Trusts urge @GOVUK to move forward, empowering students to engage with our natural world! Read more wtru.st/3AFnVQD

Selling fireworks to the general public is a ******* disgrace! Who knows how many other wild, domestic, and captive animals suffered and/or died due to them. Ban them NOW!

We are calling for tighter restrictions on fireworks following the death of Roxie, our endangered red panda kit, on bonfire night. Our expert vet team believe it's likely that three-month-old Roxie died due to stress caused by fireworks in the local area.

Stare into the face of this Cretaceous bird. And peer inside its head, into its big brain. It's awesome. One of the best fossil bird skulls from The Age of Dinosaurs! Very impressed. Congrats @GNavalon @fieldpalaeo & team.

Tired of flattened early bird fossils? Today is your lucky day. Very happy to finally welcome 'Navaornis hestiae' to the world! It allowed us to see for the first time a (near)complete enantiornithine brain. Today in @Nature: nature.com/articles/s4158… #spinningskull

. @MerlinBirdID when I switch from Likely Birds to All Installed Birds, why can’t I add birds to my Life List please?

Lovely views of a Long-tailed Duck and a Tufted Duck on the lake today. #Birdwatching
