We Remember Dr. Stella Adadevoh who sacrificed her life to prevent the spread of Eboloa virus in Nigeria in 2014. Nigeria remains eternally grateful. Your legacy as a courageous and patriotic heroine will never be forgotten.

Instead of showing me your diversity statement, show me your hiring data, your discrimination claim stats, your salary tables, your retention numbers, your diversity policies, and your leaders’ public actions against racism. End performative allyship.

I finished my first leetcode question "roman to integer" (easiest on the platform) in 57 minutes, effectively failing every coding interview ever... luckily I already have a cool job 😎

If you want to become well known on Twitter and brand yourself as a developer, it’s become obvious that it’s much more important to know how to game the algorithm with bullshit clickbait and threads than to a actually build things or create educational material.

Did you know that it’s actually possible for you to say, “I don’t know enough about this to have an opinion”

I know you are smart. I know you can handle a lot of things at once. You can write a HelloWorld in Java, Python, and JS. You know React and Vue. My advice to you: master something. It could be anything. What gets you there is depth. Good generalists were once specialists.

Floating point representation error.

Thanks, JS. > Number.isInteger(1.0000000000000001); true

Don't Vue or React first. A short read on why you should learn the basics of JS first. link.medium.com/Q7i8OHASyfb

I just published Learn to Build a Web Scraper in an Evening link.medium.com/f7Tq7S3usfb If you've been wanting to build a web scraper, this will get you started in no time.

Once a manager makes it clear they don’t value you, believe them. And move on.

What's one career tip you would share with your younger self? #MicrosoftLife
