Sector 3 Road Marching Event at @2247Hawarden today. 30 cadets all set for Blue Part 1. #RoadMarching
A very wet weekend of training with @aircadets from North Wales at @RAF_Valley, where the weather could not make up its mind. Despite this cadets showed great resilience and fortitude in completing 45km over 2 days. For many their first weekend. 14 achieving their Blue badge!
This morning was the @PoppyLegion Launch in #Wrexham starting off the period of Remembrance. I then popped over to see one of the local supermarket collections and speak to volunteers. #PoppyAppeal #Remembrance
Lovely day out with the sector to Hack Green Nuclear Bunker.

Mixed feelings, Honoured to be presented with my Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Medal today, remembering the 70 years dutiful service as our Monarch. It will be worn with pride.
Another glorious weekend Road Marching with the cadets. Slowly getting back to normal after Covid. Some good prospects for NIjmegen 2023! Off to the beach now for a bit! (So much for storms)!
Thanks and well done to the @gstccf cadets from @KingsWoolston @KingsHawthornes who raised the Armed Forces Day Flag outside the North West RFCA HQ today.
A special day attending The Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace, in recognition for voluntary work. What a splendid day and once in a lifetime event in the #PlatinumJubilee Year.
Congratulations on your retirement, Mick. Kitted me out to fly as a 13 year old cadet many years ago.
Today we said not goodbye but a fond fairwell to one of our Squippers, Mick who retires tomorrow after being with us for a loooooong time. Take care Mick. Kettle is always on if you’re passing.
It was a great honor and privilege to except the award of Certificate of Merit at HM Lord-Lieutenant of Clwyd’s presentations,This also is for the thousands of people in the combined Cadets Forces that go unnoticed every year. #LLAwards2022 @WSO3_No2WW @2279Wrexham
Great effort guys! Glad to have been able to pop in.
